SSPS is open 24 hours a day by appointment only. A $75.00 per hour turnkey fee for after normal hours (8 AM-5 PM), holidays and weekends appointments.
The minimum rental period is one day (24 hours). Equipment may be picked up after 3:00 PM the day before, if available, and must be returned by 10:00 AM the day after to avoid additional rental charges. Weekly rate is 3 days for 7 consecutive days. Special weekly rates are available for long term rentals. SSPS does not observe discounts for student or special weekend rates. SSPS does not have weekly rates for any of our generators.
All accounts are C.O.D. All established accounts are net 10 days. Advance payment of 50% (i.e. check Fed Ex the day before) will be required for any job outside of the St. Louis Metropolitan area. Including transportation, per diems and single accommodation lodging, if applicable.
Missouri State Sales Tax
All sales & rentals are subject to Missouri Sales & Use tax of 9.238% unless a Missouri Sales/Use Tax Exemption Certificate (Form 149) has been provided.
Lessee is to provide a Certificate of Insurance, naming Sight & Sound Production Services, Inc. and its assignees as additional “Insured/ Loss Payee” prior to equipment being released to cover replacement cost of equipment estimating around $500,000 dollars plus any additional special equipment requests. All S.S.P.S. vehicles are required to have “Hired Autos, Non-Owned Autos & Hired Auto Physical Coverage” @ $100,000. All S.S.P.S. vehicles drivers are in compliance with driver’s medical card & all D.O.T. regulations. Within one business day (24 hr.) of scheduled time will be subject to the full applicable rates.
Damage, Loss and/or Destruction
All equipment is rented in good working condition and is to be returned in like manner. Any repair work necessary shall be paid by lessee upon discovery. If unit(s) is lost or damaged beyond repair, lessee shall pay SSPS full replacement cost.
All heads are rented with working globes. Any globe(s) not returned or returned damaged because of negligence or misused, lessee will be charged at current market value for the replacement of such globe(s). Any globes burned out as of normal use will be covered by SSPS. Spent globes are to be returned to SSPS for credit & valuation.
Assemblage of Requested Equipment
All equipment order request must be placed by no later than 2:30 PM for next day pickup or delivery. Any late equipment requests after this time may be subject to overtime terms until loading is complete
Pickup, Delivery and Shipments
Local delivery services (within a twenty mile radius) are available at $75.00 per hour each way during normal business hours (8:00 AM-5:00 PM). Weekend delivery services @ double the normal rate @ $150.00/hour. All special orders/shipments made outside the St. Louis area at the lessee request will be shipped freight and rental collect. All returned equipment or expendables items must be shipped prepaid. Rental does not end until the equipment is received by Sight & Sound Production Services, Inc
Lessee agrees to be bound by all terms and conditions of this agreement. Lessee agrees to pay 10% finance charge on all invoices 30 days past due. Lessee agrees to pay all collection fees of insufficient funds, attorney’s fees and court, costs if such action is necessary to collect all outstanding invoices and/or replace damaged or lost equipment.
