Terms and Conditions

Business Hours:
SSPS is open 24 hours a day, by appointment only, including holidays and weekends.  A $75.00 per hour turnkey service fee for after normal hours (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM), holidays and weekends appointments.

Rental Period:
The minimum rental period is one day. Equipment may be picked up after 3:00 PM the day before, if available, and must be returned by 10:00 AM the day after to avoid additional rental charges. Weekly rate is 3.5 days for 7 consecutive days. Special weekly rates are available for longer term rentals. 

All accounts are COD. All established accounts are net 10 days. Advance payment of 50% (i.e. check
Fed Ex the day before) will be required for any job outside of the St. Louis Metropolitan area, including transportation, per diems and single accommodation lodging, if applicable.

Missouri State Sales Tax:
All sales and rentals are subject to Missouri Sales and Use Tax of 7.825% unless a Missouri Sales/Use Tax Exemption Certificate (Form 149) has been provided.

Lessee is to provide a Certificate of Insurance, naming Sight & Sound Production Servies, Inc. and its assignees as additional "Insured/Loss Payee" prior to equipment being released to cover replacement cost of equipment estimating around $500,000. dollars plus any additional special equipment requests. Any trucks requiring staff or non-staff driver is required to have "Hired Autos, Non-Owned Autos & Hired Auto Physical Coverage" @ $50,000. All drivers are required to have a chauffers/CDL license with valid medical card. These drivers must be pre-approved by SSPS. Simply call your insurance agent with the above information and have the certicate(s) faxed to the SSPS office, 314-647-0665, or e-mail: sspshoulle@sbcglobal.net.

Within one business day of scheduled time will be subject to the full applicable rates.

Damage, Lost and/or Destruction:
All equipment is rented in good working condition and is to be returned in like manner. Any repair work necessary shall be paid by lessee upon discovery. If unit(s) is damaged beyond repair, lessee shall pay full replacement price. If unit(s) is lost, lessee shall pay SSPS full replacement costs.

All heads are rented with working globes. Any globe(s) not returned or returned damaged because of negligence or misuse, Lessee will be charged at current market value for the replacement of such globe(s). Any globes burned out as of normal use will be covered by SSPS.

Assemblage of Requested Equipment:
All equipment order requests must be placed by no later than 2:30pm for next day pickup or delivery.  Any late orders after this time may be subject to overtime terms until loading is complete.

Pick-up, Delivery and Shipments:
Local delivery services (within 20 mile radius) are available at $50.00 each way during normal business hours (8:00am - 5:00pm). All special orders/shipments made outside the St. Louis are at the lessee request will be shipped freight and rental collect. All returned equipment or expendables items must be shipped prepaid. Rental does not end until the equipment is received by Sight & Sound Production Services, Inc.

Lessee agrees to be bound by all terms and conditions of this agreement. Lessee agrees to pay 1.5% finance charge on all invoices 30 days past due. Lessee agrees to pay all collection, fees of insufficient funds, attorney's fees and court costs if such action is necessary to collect all outstanding invoices and/or replace damaged or lost equipment.
